How to Install an Injection Mold

Wanna install your injection mold correctly? (Below some of the paragraphs are extracted from www.ehow.com) Injection molding is used in automotive, aerospace, ship-making and even jewelry fabrication. The process involves an injection machine that clamps down a mold. It then heats the mold and the material to be cast. The material is then injected into the mold under high pressure. If the mold is installed incorrectly the final product can be ruined. Often it will not inject all the way, leaving a shortened product or it will inject too much, and plastic can shoot out of the mold . Instructions 1. Check to make sure the mold is clean and free of chips after it has been machined. 2.  Open any safety guards on the injection molding machine and put the mold into the injection molding machine . The injection nozzle on the machine must be aligned with the mold cavity.

Benefits of Collapsing Core Mold

Benefits of Collapsing Core Mold Recently, we have read an article that talks about the new birth of old mold. You can rebuild it with collapsible core tech. From the beginning, let's explain what is "collapsible core tech".   "Collapsible core technology is a method for removing internal undercut in parts, and is used primary in caps and closures, plumbing components, and the medical industry. There are two types of collapsing cores: mechanical and flexing steel. The collapsing segments are wither driven inward by dovetail-type flanges, or flexed inward with a spring force that allows it to collapse."   (above explanation is extracted from Plastic Today) Collapsible Core Mold Insert Collapsible Core Mold

Steps to Manufacture a Product? (Below article is extracted from www.ehow.com - Steps to Manufacture a Product) Many steps are necessary to manufacture a product .  ( Intertech Machinery Incorporation provide complete services for custom made projects from A to Z. We are able to provide services from prototyping, mold design, mold making, manufacturing process control, molding, finished products) If you take the time to develop prototypes and assure that the individual parts fit together properly, you can start a production run to make hundreds or even thousands of units as needed.
